BMW 2 Series F22 F23 NBT EVO 14.9 inch Android Screen with Wireless CarPlay and 4G | QLB42NEEV

This screen is for the BMW 2 Series F22 and F23 from 2018 with the NBT EVO system, and only works with that system. An NBT EVO radio usually has a 6-pin LVDS port and shows NBTevo_xxx and Automatic map update in the version info.

The Android side works alongside the car's original system, and the CD player doesn't need removing. When you switch back to the original system, its touch and gesture control won't work, but the iDrive controller does.

CarPlay connects your iPhone without a cable, so maps, music and calls spread across the wide screen while the phone stays in your pocket.

Android Auto connects wirelessly too, putting Google Maps and music apps on the screen in a layout made for driving.

The 14.9 inch QLED screen has a slim, fully-laminated design with a custom bezel and 2.5D edge, giving a full-screen look like BMW's newest models.

The IPS panel keeps the picture clear from both front seats, so the passenger can follow the map too.

Insert a SIM card and the built-in 4G module gives the unit its own data connection for navigation, video and games. A 4G antenna and SIM card slot are in the box.

Wi-Fi lets the screen join a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.

A GPS antenna is supplied, so you can run a sat nav app on the screen as well as your phone's maps.

The unit supports a 360 camera system, which shows the area around the car on the wide screen when you're parking. The cameras are sold separately.

A built-in DSP lets you adjust how the sound is processed, so you can tune the audio to suit the cabin.

An RCA audio output lets you connect an external amplifier if you want to upgrade the sound later.

A mini microphone is included for hands-free calls and voice commands.

Screen mirroring puts your phone's display on the wide screen, useful for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto. It's best used when parked.

A USB cable is supplied for connecting a phone or a USB drive with music and video.

A 12nm Octa-core chip (2xCortex-A75 2.0GHz + 6xCortex-A55) runs Android 13 with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB solid state ROM, giving quick response with low power use.
