A 10.25 inch 2K widescreen Android 14 unit for left-hand drive BMW 1 Series E81, E82, E87 and E88 (2006-2012) that left the factory without a display. A screen for cars without one
Many E81, E82, E87 and E88 1 Series cars came without a factory screen. This unit adds a 10.25 inch display to the dashboard, with a controller in the box.
Fitting may mean cutting a permanent hole in the dashboard. If your car has a storage box on top of the dash, removing it gives the space instead, and no cutting is needed. A template sticker helps you mark the hole accurately.
Sound plays through the car's AUX input, which must be enabled. Without a working AUX input, you'll need an FM transmitter (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible).
Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects without a cable, putting your iPhone's maps, calls and music on the widescreen display.
Wireless Android Auto
Android Auto connects wirelessly too, so Google Maps and your music apps are on the dash as soon as you set off.
Android 14 with 8GB RAM
A Qualcomm 662 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM runs Android 14 apps smoothly, and 128GB of storage holds apps, offline maps and music.
10.25 inch 2K IPS screen
The 2K widescreen IPS touch screen stays clear from the driver's and passenger's seats, and is wide enough to show a map comfortably.
4G mobile data
With a SIM in the 4G module, the unit has its own internet connection for live traffic and streaming. A 4G antenna is in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi connects the unit to a hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
GPS navigation
A GPS antenna is supplied, so navigation apps can track your position without a phone.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the 10.25 inch screen, for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Microphone for calls
The unit supports a microphone for hands-free calls and voice commands.
External DAB
Digital radio is supported with an external DAB tuner connected to the unit.

- Installing this monitor may require cutting a permanent hole in your dashboard. The cutting will not be required if there is a storage box on the top, as uninstalling the storage box will do the job.
- If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or the AUX port is not functioning, you need to order a FM transmitter to aid for the installation. (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.)
The unit comes with an ISO wiring harness, a template sticker and a cutter knife. You may need to cut a permanent hole in the dashboard, unless there's a storage box on top that can be removed instead. This version is for left-hand drive cars without an original display; cars with CCC or CIC need a different model.
Will I have to cut my dashboard?
Possibly. If there's a storage box on top of the dash, removing it makes the space. Otherwise a permanent hole is cut, using the supplied template sticker as a guide.
My car already has a screen. Is this the right unit?
No. This one is for cars with no original display. Cars with CCC need QBBHI4CCB12E87C and cars with CIC need QBBH14CIB12E87C.
Is it for right-hand drive cars?
This version is for left-hand drive vehicles.
What if my car has no AUX input?
You'll need an FM transmitter for the audio. XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible.
