A fibre optic MOST25 decoder box for the Audi A6 / A6L, Q7 and A8 / A8L with the MMI 2G/2G+ system. It keeps the factory amplifier and fibre optic network working when you fit an aftermarket stereo, so sound still plays through all the original speakers.
- Keeps the factory amplifier and fibre optic network after a stereo upgrade
- Sound continues through all the original speakers
- Plug and play, with a power supply cable and fibre optic loop connector included
Keep the factory amplifier
These Audis send audio to the factory amplifier over a fibre optic MOST25 network. An aftermarket stereo can't talk to that network on its own, so without a decoder the speakers stay silent.
This decoder box bridges the gap. It keeps the factory amplifier system and fibre optic network running, so music from your new head unit plays through every original speaker.
What it fits
It's for cars with the MMI 2G/2G+ system: the Audi A6 / A6L (2005-2009), Q7 (2005-2009) and A8 / A8L (2003-2008). Check your car has MMI 2G or 2G+ before ordering.

Why do I need a decoder box?
Your Audi's factory amplifier is connected by fibre optic. The decoder box keeps that amplifier and network working with an aftermarket stereo, so all the speakers still play.
Which MMI system does my car need?
The MMI 2G/2G+ system, in the A6 / A6L, Q7 or A8 / A8L. Check which MMI version your car has before ordering.
