XTRONS PX84AA3LHGS is an 8.8″ Android 14 head unit for the Audi A3 8P, S3 8P and RS3 Sportback. It replaces the factory radio with wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G and an AKM DSP, plus an inclinometer for off-road use.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
CarPlay connects without any wiring, so your iPhone can stay in your pocket. It supports iPhone 5 and later on iOS 8 and above, and Siri handles voice requests.
Full-featured Android Auto
Android phones on Android 4.3 and above can use Android Auto, with maps, music and calls on the 8.8″ screen and voice control through Google Assistant.
8.8″ HD IPS screen
The IPS panel keeps colours true without shifting when you look from the side. G+G touch glass makes it clear and responsive.
AKM DSP sound
An automotive-grade AKM DSP chip gives you custom sound modes and EQ settings, so you can set the bass, mids and highs to suit what you listen to.
4G with a Micro-SIM
Insert a Micro-SIM card and the unit has its own 4G connection for maps and streaming. A 4G antenna and SIM card slot cable are in the box.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets it join a phone hotspot or home network for app downloads and updates.
GPS navigation
A GPS antenna is supplied, so navigation apps can run on the unit itself. The built-in compass helps on unmarked tracks.
USB
Two USB cables come with the unit for connecting phones and playing files from USB sticks.
Microphone for calls
A microphone is in the box for hands-free calls and voice commands. Mount it near the driver for the clearest sound.
DAB+ with an external tuner
Digital radio works with an external DAB tuner, sold separately.
Screen mirroring
Screen mirroring shows your phone's display on the head unit, useful for apps outside CarPlay and Android Auto when parked.
Inclinometer and performance
Built-in gyroscope sensors show the car's roll and pitch angle, with a compass, which is handy off-road.
A 12nm octa core 2.0GHz processor runs Android 14 with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. It's tested from −30°C to +80°C.

- Please check if your vehicle's original CD is Single DIN size. If it is, this unit will NOT fit your car.
- Please check to see whether there is a RNS-D (Radio Navigation System) or a BNS 5.x (Basic Navigation System), if there is, this unit is NOT compatible with your car.
The unit comes with two ISO wiring harnesses, a CANbus box, clips and removal tools for the old radio. If your radio antenna port matches the product photo, you'll need the ICE/ACS/ISOFZ cable. If the rear speakers have static or no sound after fitting, AK/INIB/NRCBL can fix it, but check the original ISO plug is 40pin first.
Will it fit if my A3 has a single DIN CD player?
No. If the original CD unit is Single DIN size, this head unit won't fit.
My car has RNS-D or BNS 5.x navigation. Is it compatible?
No. Send us a picture of the original wiring and we'll look for a solution.
Which phones work with CarPlay and Android Auto?
iPhone 5 and later on iOS 8 and above, and Android phones on Android 4.3 and above.
Does it play DVDs?
No, this unit doesn't have a DVD drive.
