Keeps the Dynaudio system working
In a Volkswagen with Dynaudio sound, the stereo talks to the factory amplifier over a fibre optic network. Replace the stereo on its own and the speakers can go quiet. This decoder box keeps the factory amplifier and fibre optic network running with an aftermarket stereo, so sound plays through all the speakers.
It's plug and play and comes with its power supply cable.
Which Volkswagens it suits
It's for 2015-2020 Volkswagen models with the Dynaudio sound system. It doesn't fit the Touareg; a 2015-2018 Touareg with Dynaudio using MOST25 needs XTRONS ACFOBVT01 instead.
