A small 12V radio signal amplifier with a FAKRA II connector that boosts FM and AM reception from your car's aerial. It helps where the signal is weak, though it can't create one where the aerial picks up nothing.
- Boosts reception for both AM and FM stations
- FAKRA II connector
- DC and AC short circuit protection
- Compact 5.3×3.3×1.5cm body
Stronger radio reception
The amplifier sits in the aerial line and strengthens the FM and AM signal before it reaches the radio, which helps stations hold on in areas with patchy coverage.
It can only boost a signal that's already there. If the aerial gets very poor reception or none at all, the amplifier won't fix it, so check the aerial itself first.
Wiring it in
It runs on 12V. The red wire connects to the power antenna lead or a 12V source, and the power cable is approximately 50cm long. Short circuit protection guards against DC and AC faults.
Check your aerial lead uses a FAKRA II connector before ordering.
