When the original head unit comes out, the opening it leaves isn't a standard size. This fascia panel fills it and gives you a double DIN aperture, which suits most aftermarket head units, while the dashboard keeps its factory appearance.
It is made for left-hand drive cars only, so check your Picanto or Morning (TA) from 2011 onwards is left-hand drive before ordering.
