A 5 inch Android head unit made to fit a long list of Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler models from around 1998 to 2009, including the Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, PT Cruiser and RAM. It brings CarPlay, Android Auto, dual-band Wi-Fi and GPS navigation to cars that left the factory with a basic radio.

Wireless Apple CarPlay
Connect your iPhone and CarPlay comes up on the 5 inch screen, with maps, calls and music easier to reach than on the phone. Siri is available directly for voice control.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Android Auto
Full-featured Android Auto shows navigation, music and messages on the touch screen, with Google Assistant for hands-free commands.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
5 inch IPS touch screen
The 5” 800×480 IPS display uses Grade-A G+G touch glass for quick, accurate response. The XTRONS UI has a quick display window that shows car speed, navigation or video playback at a glance, and you can set your favourite apps and music sources.
Sound adjustment
The DSP and EQ system give you plenty of control over the sound, so you can get a balanced result throughout the car.
The sound processor lets you tune the sound to your car: an equaliser, a delay for each speaker so the sound centres on your seat, and crossovers that keep deep bass away from small speakers. Start from a preset and change one setting at a time.
4x45W amplifier
The 4x45W TCB001HQ amplifier keeps output stable at different volume levels. The radio is an SI4755 with RDS.
The built-in amplifier drives your car's speakers directly, which is all most cars need. If your car has a factory amplifier, as many premium sound systems do, it usually stays in use and may need an adapter, so check before ordering.
Dual band Wi-Fi
Dual band Wi-Fi connects the unit to a phone hotspot or home network for downloads, updates and streaming.
Steering wheel controls
External CANbus decoding helps keep original functions working after the upgrade. Some cars with the original amplifier and steering wheel control need an extra ISO wiring harness (see the fitting notes).
Your steering wheel buttons keep working with the new unit, either through a CAN bus decoder or by teaching the unit each button. Check which your car needs before ordering. A few buttons may do nothing if the unit has no matching function.
USB
2 USB cables are included for phones and memory sticks, and 1080P video plays from local files.
External microphone
An external microphone can be fitted near the driver for clearer hands-free calls.
DAB with an external tuner
DAB radio is supported with an external tuner, sold separately.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
Camera support
The unit supports AHD cameras, and a camera cable comes in the box. The camera is sold separately.
Connect a reversing camera and its picture appears on the screen when you select reverse. Automatic switching needs the reverse signal wired in. If your car already has a factory camera, check whether you need an adapter to keep it.

- This unit does NOT support original navigation system.
- If the model of your vehicle is among 1999~2005 and it comes with the original amplifier sound system and digital steering wheel control, you need to buy an extra ISO wiring harness to finish the installation. (XTRONS AK/PE51WRJL/PWRH is compatible.)
The unit is a custom fit with a 212x80mm face panel and comes with two ISO wiring harnesses, a CANbus cable and screws. Check the year, dimensions and shape of your centre console against the photos. Cars with the original amplifier and steering wheel control may need an extra harness: the XTRONS AK/PE51WRJL/PWRH for 1999~2005 models with digital steering wheel control, or the AK/PE52WRJL/PWRH01 for cars whose CD player matches the second photo.
Does it work with my factory amplifier?
Yes, but you'll need an extra ISO wiring harness. The AK/PE51WRJL/PWRH suits 1999~2005 cars with an original amplifier and digital steering wheel control; the AK/PE52WRJL/PWRH01 suits cars with the CD player shown in the photo.
Will my factory navigation still work?
No. This unit doesn't support the original navigation system, but it has its own GPS navigation.
Can it take a SIM card?
No. It connects to the internet over dual band Wi-Fi, for example through your phone's hotspot.
Does it have DAB?
DAB needs an external tuner, sold separately.
