A 14.9 inch Android 14 screen made as a plug-and-play replacement for the factory display in the BMW X5 and X6. It adds wireless CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, built-in 4G and a DSP in a slim, fully laminated screen.

Made for the BMW X5 and X6
The screen replaces the factory display in the X5 and X6 as a plug-and-play fit. BMW used several iDrive systems across these models, so check your car's year, system and dashboard against the product photos before ordering.
It runs Android 14 on an octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which leaves room for apps, music and offline maps.
14.9 inch fully laminated IPS screen
The 14.9 inch IPS panel stays clear from both front seats. It's fully laminated with a slim custom bezel and 2.5D edge, giving the dashboard the full-screen look of newer models.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
Your iPhone connects without a cable and the screen becomes a display and controller for it. Maps, music and calls come up on the dashboard, and voice commands keep your hands free.
Your iPhone connects on its own when you start the car, so there's no cable to plug in. It needs an iPhone with wireless CarPlay support; check yours in Settings > General > CarPlay. A cable still works when you'd rather charge on the way.
Android Auto
Android phones get the same wireless set-up, with Google Maps, music apps and messages on the big screen and voice control for most tasks.
Maps, calls, messages and music from your Android phone appear on the car screen, with Google Assistant for voice control. It needs a phone with Google services, which most Android phones have. To connect without a cable, the phone must support wireless Android Auto too.
Built-in 4G
Insert a SIM card and the unit has its own 4G connection for navigation, video and apps, without using your phone's data.
A SIM card in the head unit gives it its own internet connection for maps, traffic and streaming, so it doesn't need your phone's hotspot. You supply the SIM and the data plan; a data-only SIM is usually the cheapest way to do it.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi lets the unit connect to a phone hotspot or your home network for app downloads and updates.
Built-in DSP
The DSP lets you adjust the sound to suit the car, so music is balanced around the driver's seat.
The sound processor lets you tune the sound to your car: an equaliser, a delay for each speaker so the sound centres on your seat, and crossovers that keep deep bass away from small speakers. Start from a preset and change one setting at a time.
Screen mirroring
Mirror your phone's screen to the 14.9 inch display for apps that don't run in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
Microphone
Microphone support gives you hands-free calls and voice commands.
DAB with an external receiver
Digital radio works with an external DAB receiver, which the unit supports. It isn't built in.
Digital radio gives clearer sound and more stations than FM where there's DAB coverage. It needs a DAB aerial: a stick-on windscreen aerial is the usual choice, or a splitter if your car already has a combined FM and DAB aerial.
