A reversing camera that replaces the rear number plate light cover on BMW 3 Series, 5 Series, X5 and X6 models, so most cars need no drilling. It connects to an aftermarket head unit with a video input and gives a 160° view behind the car.

A rear view built into the plate light
The camera is built into a replacement number plate light cover. It takes the place of the original cover and works with the existing bulb, so there's no drilling on most cars.
The 160° lens shows a wide area behind the car, and a night sensor and night vision LED help after dark. If your head unit has a dedicated camera input, it can show the picture automatically as soon as you select reverse.
Check before ordering
It's made for the BMW 3 Series from 2008 to 2012, the 5 Series, X5 and X6. Compare the size or part number of your original number plate light with the photos before you buy. On the X5, the plate lamp area may need some modification to fit the camera.
The camera needs an aftermarket head unit with an RCA video input and may not work with the factory fitted head unit.

- Note : For BMW X5 vehicles, some modifications on license plate lamp's place maybe needed to install this camera.
Remove the original number plate light cover and fit the camera in its place, keeping the existing bulb. Run the supplied video cable to your head unit's video input and connect the power cable.
Will it work with my factory BMW screen?
It may not. It's meant for aftermarket head units with an RCA video input.
Do I need to drill any holes?
Not on most cars, as it replaces the number plate light cover. On the X5, the lamp area may need some modification.
Does the picture come on automatically in reverse?
Yes, if your head unit has a dedicated camera input and is set up for it.
