Functions
What you need to fit this
1 · In the box
- 1 x Power Cable
- 1 x Remote Control
- 1 x User Manual
- 4 x Nuts
A 14 inch Android flip-down roof monitor for rear passengers, with built-in speakers and Wi-Fi. Passengers can stream apps, play files from USB or mirror their phone, and you can plug in a games console or TV box through the HD input.
- Android with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM for streaming apps
- 14 inch IPS screen at 1366×768 with 4K video decoding
- Phone mirroring without an extra app, for Android 8.0 and iOS 9.0 and above
- HD input and RCA video input for external devices
- Built-in dual speakers, FM transmitter and Bluetooth or IR headphone support
Android apps for the back seat
The monitor runs Android with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, so passengers can download apps such as Netflix, YouTube or Spotify and stream directly, with no extra devices.
Multiple UI themes let you choose the layout and colours. Virtual touch buttons light up when it's on and disappear when it's off.
14 inch screen with 4K decoding
The 14 inch IPS screen runs at 1366×768 and decodes 4K video, so films look sharp from the back seats. It flips down from the roof when you want it and folds away when you don't.
Dual band Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi works on 5GHz for fast streaming and 2.4GHz for a steadier signal over a wider area. Connect it to a phone hotspot for streaming on the road.
Screen mirroring
Passengers can share photos, videos and games from their phone to the monitor without downloading an extra app. It supports Android phones with Android 8.0 and above, and iPhones with iOS 9.0 and above.
Mirroring shows your phone's whole screen on the car screen, unlike CarPlay and Android Auto, which show apps designed for driving. It usually needs a companion app on the phone, and paid video streaming apps often block it.
USB playback
Plug in a USB flash drive to play local media files, which is useful where there's no signal. MP3, WAV, FLAC and APE audio formats are supported.
HD and AV inputs
The HD input takes a games console, digital TV box, camera or video recorder (not included). XTRONS FV014/FVO15DE digital TV receivers are compatible. There's also an AV input for RCA two channels video.
