A reversing camera that replaces the rear number plate light cover on the VW Passat, Jetta, Lavida, Gran Lavida and Cross Lavida. No holes need drilling, and it gives a 160° view behind the car.
- Replaces the number plate light cover, so no drilling
- 160° wide angle lens with a colour CMOS sensor
- Night vision LED and night sensor for reversing in the dark
- Waterproof and dustproof
A hidden camera in the plate light
The camera takes the place of the rear number plate light cover and works alongside the existing bulb, so it looks factory fitted and needs no holes drilling. The 160° wide angle lens shows the blind spot directly behind the bumper.
A night sensor and night vision LED keep the picture clear after dark, and the housing is waterproof and dustproof.
Connect a reversing camera and its picture appears on the screen when you select reverse. Automatic switching needs the reverse signal wired in. If your car already has a factory camera, check whether you need an adapter to keep it.
Check before ordering
It works with any aftermarket head unit that has a video input, using an RCA connection. If your head unit has a dedicated camera input, the picture can come up automatically when you select reverse. It may not work with the factory head unit.
Compare the dimensions or part number of your original number plate light with the product photos before ordering.
