Freeview TV in the car
Connect the FV014 to a head unit or rear-seat monitor and it picks up free-to-air digital TV in HD, which helps on holiday, in traffic or while you wait. It handles DVB-T and DVB-T2 broadcasts in MPEG2, MPEG4 and H.264, up to 1080i.
The electronic programme guide lets you browse what's on and change channels with the remote. Menus are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Czech, Swedish and Danish.
HDMI and RCA outputs
Use the HDMI port for the clearest picture on a screen that accepts it; the HDMI cable isn't included. RCA video and audio outputs let you feed more than one monitor at the same time, and an RCA cable comes in the box.
It suits XTRONS IA/ID/IM/IP/IQ/IX/PL/PX/UA/QA/QB/QD/QL/QG/QIR/QT/QU/QW series head units, backseat monitors and roof mounted monitors.
It sends video from the head unit to headrest or roof screens, so passengers can watch on the move. The screens need an input that matches this output, so check the connection type in the specifications before buying them.
USB recording and playback
Plug in a USB stick to record a programme while you watch it, or to play your own music, films and photos.
